The Green Bay Substitute Teachers Association works for the welfare of school children, the advancement of education, and the improvement of instructional opportunities. 
 
The association develops and promotes the adoption of such ethical practices, personnel policies, and standards of preparation as make a profession of teaching.
 
 
The GBSTA strives to unify and strengthen

substitute teachers and to secure and maintain salaries, insurance, and

other working conditions.

 
 
 
 
The GBSTA enables
members to speak with a common voice on matters pertaining to the substitute teaching staff.
